Remote Participation using DICENTIS Wireless

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been faced with new challenges relating to conferencing and other corporate gatherings. One of the biggest challenges is to ensure that delegates adhere to physical distancing without losing touch of the overall purpose of the conference. Bosch has a broad product portfolio that is able to support such challenges whilst effectively catering for a wide variety of meeting types. For meetings requiring flexible seat arrangements and involving remote participants, the DICENTIS Wireless conference system provides the perfect solution. Along with this solution, conference organisers are able to incorporate Skype, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

How does remote participation using DICENTIS Wireless work?

Assuming that the DICENTIS wireless solution is set-up for meeting participants in the meeting room, the following procedure would need to take place:

  • A host computer in the meeting room facilitates the online communication platform (e.g. Zoom, Skype or Teams) to involve remote participants into the meeting
  • A large screen or projector can be connected to this computer so that the remote participant video is visible for the participants in the meeting room
  • Microphones are set up as actual participants in the Zoom/Skype/Teams meeting.

At Congress Rental, we are always striving to make conferencing set-ups more efficient regardless of what is happening in the external environment. The DICENTIS Wireless has enabled us to do just that during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contact us today for a quote.
